Just a few minutes ago, my little brother was getting off the bus, as normal. I was sitting right where I am now, when I heard the beeping of the bus's horn, and my mom screaming "STOP!"
I ran out into the living room, up to the door, to see my mom standing in front of a golden car, screaming at the man inside, with my little brother cowering at the side of the road. As I realized what just happened, my instincts kicked in and I ran outside as well, running to my brother and carrying him across the road.
I almost lost my little brother today due to the idiot drivers where I live. So, let this be a lesson to you all: Love your family like its the last day you have with them, because something may happen to them. I'm glad it didn't happen to me.
Along with that, please please please, out of you who are legally able to drive, please be cautious. And those of you who can't, when you can, I repeat: Be. Cautious.
